THE ROLE

As Retail Accountant, you will work in a diverse and ambitious organization, operating in a highly competitive and dynamic market. You will report directly to the Manager Accounting & Control and will be responsible for managing the local accounting processes, reporting, VAT, statutory financial statements and Corporate Income Tax. In this position, you will play a key role in the accounting issues the company faces under local GAAP.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full bookkeeping activities plus complete trial balance ownership of the at least 2 entities (mix of full price stores, outlets and concession)
  • Monthly reporting and specification of figures (including variance analysis);
  • Monthly/Quarterly VAT-declarations;
  • Payroll, cash and bank bookings and reconciliations;
  • Reporting of weekly cash flow and preparation of weekly payments (AP etc.);
  • Assist in the preparation of interim and yearly external audits of assigned entities;
  • Oversee the inventory processes in the ERP system;
  • Provide support in the process related to opening of new stores;
  • Pro-active contribution to the current optimization of the accounting processes;
  • Support and ad-hoc analyses and projects initiated within the Finance team


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Proactive, hands-on mentality;
  • Strong personality and able to communicate;
  • Ambitious and drive to improve;
  • System knowledge, experience in ERP systems and QlikView.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactive, flexible and hands-on attitude
