The Product Developer is responsible for working closely together with the Design and Merchandising departments to develop products that deliver according the quality, aesthetic, and gross margin targets of the division within the given time frame. You will take a lead in the sourcing of new materials and are visiting material fairs, tanneries, vendors to always be informed of the latest trends and innovations of your product category. You build strong relationships with your vendors / suppliers and together with them you secure the best product in time. You will be an equal partner to design to realize their designs, support them on technical feedback and offer them newness in techniques. When a review meeting is organized, you secure the availability of samples and costs. You report directly into the Product Development and Production Manager Accessories.



  • Sourcing
  • Development of our main collection and quick Injection capsules;
  • Manage all supplier communication and ensure accuracy of internal files;
  • Preparing and taking part in proto meetings;
  • Judging proto samples on technical details, measurements and workmanship;
  • Communicating comments to vendors and anticipating feasibility of changes within time-line;
  • Production progress tracking, monitoring deadlines and status;
  • Continuously improving the products by finding innovative production techniques as well as new yarns and leather qualities.
  • Product and production know-how to realize best FOB prices;
  • Working closely with design, production and vendors.


  • 3-4 years of experience working in sourcing/development/production of accessories;
  • Able to work in a hectic environment, with deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of leathers, fabrics and fabrication
  • Understanding of costing
  • Experience in working with European and Far East suppliers
  • Distinctive product taste level;
  • Has an eye for detail and consistency;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must;
  • Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written;
