Junior/Medior Creative Production Manager - Marketing

Job description

The Junior Creative Production Manager will be responsible for the project management and delivery of creative work that is on time, on brief and on budget. You will support the Marketing, Retail, Digital, E-Commerce and Visual Merchandising teams with their creative and production needs, and will balance workflow and processes in a hands-on way. This is an evolving role and requires a proactive, culture-building candidate who can drive and develop and in-house team. You will also be responsible for expanding a database of freelancers and suppliers, to share innovative ideas across design, retail, 3D, animation, illustration, photography and video.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Asset Delivery:

  • Key contact for all creative briefs and requests, across all touch points (Marketing, Retail, KARL.COM, Digital, Social and Visual Merchandising), including seasonal materials, content, collateral and campaign guidelines.
  • Manage all aspects of print and digital production for seasonal, ad hoc and/or new concept projects, as requested.
  • Develop photo shoot timelines; manage imagery and video post-production; supervise seasonal imagery guidelines and seasonal creative template development.
  • Develop standardized seasonal marketing materials for Retail, Franchise, Wholesale and Outlet channels.
  • Create basic marketing materials without external support.
  • Act as brand guardian for all brand tools, templates and assets.
  • Request and negotiate project estimates with external vendors and reconcile invoices.
  • Manage full project planning and processes to ensure clear briefings, timings, roles and responsibilities are clear per project, to the relevant team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project timelines are being followed (using project and work tracker); manage expectations around delays.
  • Manage creative reviews and sign-off process, to ensure efficiency of on-time approvals and deadlines being met.
  • Manage overall creative planning with the internal CD, copywriter, designers and freelancers, while keeping track of time and budgets.
  • Drive steering and re-occurring update meetings with all key stakeholders; share weekly status overviews on planning and flag any issues or deadlines.
  • Manage server and project folders, to ensure all creative and artwork is clearly saved.
  • Manage overall creative and production budget and forecasting; improve finance processes.
  • Ensure that all touch points are considered with project planning, creative development and sign off (including Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, Digital, Social, and Visual Merchandising).
  • Manage all production formats and technical specifications and share with the team.
  • Manage the campaign portal with Lynx/Edge, improving the process and troubleshooting across the launch of the tool. 

Stakeholder Management:

Requirements

THE PROFILE

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an advertising agency, design studio or in-house agency.
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and seasonality.
  • Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, through to completion.
  • Responsible team player who is able to build and maintain strong professional partnerships.
  • Positive and creative problem solver who is reliable and focused on deliverables.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Critical eye for creative works, colour evaluation and colour matching.
  • Intermediate knowledge of paper sourcing and specialty papers, plus digital assets and platforms.
  • Budget planning, forecasting and assessment experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in graphic design is very helpful for this role.
  • English is the working language of the company. Fluency in French or German is an advantage.
