The Digital Key Account Manager, reporting to Partners Manager will lead the digital sales strategy with Zalando and other selected online accounts, with the vision to grow the business on all categories to its fullest potential.

She/He will develop and lead the strategic roadmap for growth and implementation of all categories for these accounts and will drive initiatives focused on increasing revenue growth, new opportunities, as well as achievement of profit targets, while properly representing the brand and collections.

She/He will be responsible for the planning, controlling and directing activities of the account (s) to hit all relevant KPI’s

As part of our omni-channel strategy, the Digital Account Manager, will closely collaborate and orchestrate with key linkage groups (e.g Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Logistics, and the Digital Team and Licensing team) to deliver a holistic flawless management of that business across all functions within the organization.



  • Development and execution of the e-commerce strategy for Zalando
  • Lead contract negotiation and partnership evolution in close alignment with management
  • Understand the online partners service model and constantly improve flows and relationship to support the growing business potential;
  • Managing the delivery of all asset requirements and developing overall account Sales strategy while being mindful of protecting the Karl Lagerfeld ecommerce strategy.
  • Ensure seamless operations for online partners back end operations (sample management, order entry, seasonal order checks, pricing alignment, product shootings, pages display,)
  • Lead and orchestrate the relationships with different internal departments to grant an outstanding service’s level and close alignment with all relevant functions
  • Responsible for the performances and the KPIs of these online channels and capable of pro-actively identifying and proposing areas for performance improvement.


  • Proven track record in successful management and cross-functional alignment with major global e-commerce key accounts (Zalando would be a plus)
  • Proven business strategy/planning skills whilst still having hands-on capabilities
  • 3-4 years' experience within a similar ecommerce role
  • Strong digital experience, passion for fashion world;
  • Strong partnership management and excellent communication skills;
  • Strategic mindset and a proven track record to develop businesses in a cross-functional and global environment;
  • Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-growing environment
  • Availability to travel;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a must
